Absolute Promise

I have to say that I make promises and I cannot fulfill some of them sometimes. As a result, it disappoints people, discourages friends, disheartens close ones. Sometimes, it can become a stumbling block to people. Well, I can't really recall any at this moment, but I know I sure did fail. The reason why failure to keep promises result in the above negative consequences is that the people to whom the promise is made put their hope and expectation into the anticipated outcome of the promise.

There are hundreds or even thousands of promises that we can find in the Word of God. But, there is one particular promise that always strikes me, always dares me, always captivates me!

"I will never fail you.
I will never forsake you."
~Hebrews 13:5

I join the countless many that testify to the absolute truth of this promise. Though through many times it seems like God has failed me or forsaken me, I can never say that at the end of the moment when He showed me His marvelous intentions behind all those times.

Do you dare believe in the above promise? I challenge you to. You will be continually uplifted to find He indeed does what He says He does.
