Love Blinds

This day, God spoke to us the congregation about the following, which has quickly become one of my favourites.

"Hatred stirs up dissension,
but love covers over all wrongs."
~Proverbs 10:12

How true indeed it is, when we think about it, that indeed love "blinds" everything else. An interesting thought, which is well exemplified in the love between husbands and wives, where forgiveness is a very integral part of love. Of course, I am referring to the model husband and wife relationship which is described in the Scripture and, am glad to be able to say that I can find quite an abundant pool of examples surrounding my life. Thank God for such godly examples.

The verse, I hope and pray, will give strength to any dwindling relationships or friendships that you are in to persevere in all love and forgiveness.

Thank you, Lord for speaking your Word of Grace this day! Praise be to your Son, Jesus Christ who have perfectly exemplified that by the greatest sacrifice humankind has ever known and will ever know.
